Flourishing Fridays are about things to consider as you head into the weekend.
Today’s suggestion, as some of us head into a long weekend, is to find flow in an activity over the weekend. Consider going back to something you did and loved as child but may not have done recently. When you are in a state of flow (some people like to call it being in the zone), you are fully engaged in an activity and time may pass by quickly. Have a think about what brought you joy as a kid and have another go at trying to relive one of these activities.
Things my inner child enjoys include:
- Kicking through all the autumn leaves
- Playing board games
- Listening to my favourite music
- Rolling down a hill
- Doing a jigsaw
- Riding my bike along the beach
- Playing hopscotch
