To facilitate an environment where Australian hedge fund managers can participate in discussions on issues affecting their business to improve the efficiency of their operations and the hedge fund industry in general via:

• An open exchange of issues, opportunities and solutions irrespective of size and industry body membership
• Facilitation of a collaborative environment
• Liaison with industry bodies, regulators, service providers, etc
• Providing input into the development of investment grade infrastructure, industry standards, legislation, etc 
• Education on a range of topics that affect Australian hedge fund businesses
